Forensic Accounting:

Forensic Accounting simply means that the CPA accounting work we do for our clients is structured with the intent that it will be suitable for use in a Court of Law.

Forensic accountants often have to give expert evidence at an eventual trial. Forensic accountants not only utilize their accounting and auditing skills, but also use their investigative skills to determine what events actually took place in a financial setting.

The Reese CPA Firm has developed an extensive library of Forensic Accounting tools that we use to identify lost assets and to contact the rightful owners of those assets. We then gather the financial information needed to do additional searches for the client and file a claim with the appropriate entity holding those assets.

Mark Reese, CPA has a Certificate in Forensic Accounting from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
